Our story is a humble one. We are a group of experienced home cleaning professionals who have come together with a unified vision — to offer a clean, safe and healthy environment for each of our clients. Together, we have formed a unique friendship and business that now allows us to bring that vision to you. Combined, we have nearly four decades of cleaning experience. We understand what can be damaging to your valuables in the long run and we understand what works to keep your home protected and looking great all the time.

We understand that each home and family have different needs. We work to accommodate your schedule and priorities as much as possible so you can get the clean home you deserve. Our rates average between $150 and $225 depending on the size and condition of your home, whether you have pets and the cleaning frequency.
Giving Back to Our Community
We support the cause of donating free house cleanings to cancer patients because we love to give back to our community. “When patients share their abundant gratitude it warms my heart and feeds my spirit” says Tom Rummel, owner of MrCleanSD. Many of our patients are completely unable to clean their homes, and to support them in their time of need enriches our lives.
We are grateful for the coordination of Cleaning for a Reason in making our charity work easy by taking care of all the details. Cleaning for a Reason is the nations first non-profit dedicated to coordinating free house cleanings for anyone undergoing cancer treatment in the US or Canada.

Could not recommend this service more. They did a fantastic job, were friendly and let me know they would need to go over time and the service would cost a little more. Honestly, my bathroom and kitchen needed it and I think it was worth every penny. Very pleased.

Tom went above and beyond when I needed a deep clean before I had a houseguest coming to my small apartment. In such a short time, he whipped my apartment into a clean, cozy home! I had been working from home all hours of the day and my place was a disaster. Tom paid attention to detail, and my kitchen was clean, well-organized, and sparkling. Bedroom, living room, and bathroom were also amazingly transformed! I have been able to cook and enjoy my houseguest rather than stressing out about how messy and disorganized my home was. Tom and Ayawnda were extremely professional, thorough and friendly. We would highly recommend them. Our sink has never been cleaner! I was moving out of an RV that I had lived in for 2 years. They did a great job with a lot of detail. They cleaned vents, vacuumed the carpeted ceiling, cleaned the appliances, windows and screens. I will use these services again. The customer service was great too. Timely. Professional, Clear and wonderful communication.

Tom and Art did an amazing job on my apartment - they were so friendly, they worked hard and fast and my apartment was sparkling clean when they left! Tom was super communicative, touching base the day before to confirm my appointment and following up after the fact to ask whether I was satisfied (I was) and if I had any areas of improvement (I didn’t!) They were very professional, great with my dog, and I felt comfortable having them in my home. I would definitely hire them again!

I was trying to find one box not to check off since giving someone a 5 star rating and checking everything might signal a fake review, but Tom, Mr. Clean, is all of those things! I been having friends of friends or housekeepers of friends clean my home for years, but I got tired of not being able to count on them or not doing the job up to my standards. That's how I found Mr. Clean. I also didn't want to pay some of the obscene charges that some big companies charge, and Tom gives a great service for a reasonable price. He's always been on time, even if I'm not home (Security system tells me) and I absolutely trust him with the keys to my home so he can clean while I'm at work. There's nothing like coming home to a fresh clean home after Tom has cleaned! He does an outstanding job with attention to every detail. When the Covid crisis, happened, he immediately sent me a letter stating all of the safety protocols he'd enacted in order to ensure the safety of his clients and his employees, including cleaning with mask and gloves the whole time, far before our government had ever uttered a word about it. I'm very picky about how I like things done and even with which cleaners are used on what sometimes, and Tom has handled all of my requests with the utmost of professionalism and courtesy. Given the economic uncertainty of the times, I can only afford to have him clean once a month, but it I could afford it, I would certainly have him come more often. Tom and Mr. Clean are highly recommended!

Tom & Patrick cleaned places that previous house cleaners never did, like removing soap scum on faucets, cleaning heater vents, windowsills, and other unsightly areas. I noticed what they did right away, things are so much brighter. They even used a better product than my old standby Bona on the floors, plus they brought all their own equipment and supplies. I can’t say enough about this service, I highly recommend them.

Tom and his crew have been cleaning my house now for almost 2 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else! We have two cats that his team are great with and always carefully move the cats into whichever room isn’t being cleaned at the moment. The cats leave quite a mess, but they always do a fantastic job at getting rid of the fur which is everywhere. Before settling with Mr Clean SD we tried several other services, only to have them miss pretty obvious messes. Mr. Clean SD never misses a spot. They are also always easy to get a hold of, if I reach out via text I always get a response within the hour. They’ve also been very accommodating at working with my schedule which sometimes causes me to cancel or request a cleaning at the last minute. Over the two years, one item was broken but I immediately got a text from Tom explaining what had happened and offering to pay for it (I declined because it wasn’t anything important). They also send updates if anything seems “strange” at my house - e.g. the smart lock is running out of batteries or a door that is normally locked is unlocked.

Tom and his team have been cleaning my place for over a year and do a fantastic job! They are punctual, work with me if there is a schedule issue, and have a great system of balancing the “every time” cleaning jobs with the spaced out “deep clean” type jobs. There have been a few times I’ve thought, “I haven’t cleaned that in a while” but when I go to do it, more often than not I discover they did it and I hadn’t noticed. Not noticing things being dusty or dirty is awesome! Thanks to Tom, Ray & crew!
